IS 200t 2017
Hi All,
I have a IS 200 turbo 2017. Car has run 170k km and its a Japanese spec. Recently when I would cold start the car, id notice a rough Idling for about 8-9 seconds until the rpm would come down then stabilize. No issue at all once idle stabilised. This happened for a while (around a week), and finally the car continuously misfired while running; with check engine light and traction off signals popping up. Misfire continued whenever i would cold start or drive the car. i took it to the garage and mechanic said there is some oil presence on one of spark plug which is causing that specific cylinder to misfire. He did some quick fix and gave the car back, and after two days the same issue repeated. I gave the car back to the garage and apparently they cannot find the actual reason for the misfire and keeps on doing a quick fix .
I do not want to pay huge bill to a lexus dealership. Hence looking for a possible solution from anyone.
