Just bought my first Lexus 2014 IS 350 previous owner had some front end damage replaced and upgraded headlights to led from hid and now the drivers low beam doesn’t work and when switched on the right daytime running light goes out. I switched the headlight assembly around and they do work so it’s either the system didn’t recognize the headlights, wiring issues I can’t find, maybe something else any help would be appreciated

We need some clarification of ‘they do work’.
Was this the driver’s side unit plugged into the passenger side?
Or the passenger side unit plugged into the driver’s side?
If both units fail to work on a particular side (and both work on the other side), then you’ve an issue upstream from the headlight on that side. Check the fuses.

yes both units work fine on the passenger side only drivers side fail to work on dim even when trying passenger light on drivers side. I did follow the wiring and I did check fuses and previous owner replaced the relay module that all the fuses plug into. Is there a led controller for these lights?
