Hey Everyone, found on RR Racing site that they have come out with the tune for the 2018+ Lexus IS 350 2GR-FKS. The tune doesn’t seem to give much power on its own, about 10hp/10lb torque for the IS 350. Since the 2018+ IS 300 has practically the same engine, I wonder how much power it will add to the IS300 or if it would make it on par with the Is350 +10hp/10tq. Has anyone ordered the tune and tried it out yet? Did it make any difference? Specifically the Is300 since it should be getting the most power if in fact the tune works with it. Be nice to see if anyone has done Dyno’s with the tune and other mods like exhaust and/or headers to see results.
Check @tunedbyloi instagram or Facebook maybe you'll get better results 🫡

The tune just got released. I ordered it right when I saw it was available and I’m just waiting for it to be delivered. I have an AWD 300, and I’m expecting it should bring it up to same levels as the 350. They have dyno results posted for the prior years with the tune and that’s what it looks like.

Give us an update once you get the tune setup. I’m looking to order it as well but they didn’t post any dyno results for the IS300. Hopefully similar or the same performance as the 350.
The reason we haven't added the results for 300 is due to us not have a later model 300 here on the dyno. In theory, it should be just like the previous gens where the 300 matches the results of the 350. We just won't publish those results without actually having them.

What are power numbers with Headers, Full exhaust, E85 tune, bigger throttle body? Curious to know if you guys have tested this on your shop 350 with all mods.
I’ve had the tune installed since Monday on my AWD IS300 (no bolt ons, all stock). It feels great. It definitely wakes the car up. It no longer falls flat at 4k RPMs. I definitely would recommend it. Well worth it to get the most out of this engine. It’s been a long time coming, but I think it was worth the wait. Installation is pretty straightforward, they provide a USB cable that plugs in and connects to your laptop. It’s nice you don’t have to worry about sending a device back or anything like that.

Thats good to hear. Have you tested the 0-60 or thinking about getting it on a dyno? I’ll be ordering soon as well. I have a catback exhaust installed as well. I wonder how much more it can make with the exhaust and tune.
I’ve definitely tested 0-60, but haven’t timed it or anything. I don’t plan on getting any dyno testing done either. I’m just happy with the power increase.

I feel like I have so many questions, some coming and going. But as of right now;
Is there a real power delivery difference between the older FSE and the newer FKS?
Is there a reason why you guys have not dyno'ed an FKS with headers?
Why did you guys option the tune with a throttle body when the FSE tune wasn't given one (I think...)?
Can we finally get to the 300whp mark with just bolt-ons?

We wanted to keep the exhaust on our shop car completely stock until we finish the Stage 1 supercharger. Once we are ready for Stage 2 power levels, we will upgrade the exhaust and test NA as well. I’m sure it’ll make over 300whp.
