Default Found the perfect trunk organizer

Hey folks,

So I hate having things in my car, but I also don't like being unprepared, so I have always kept a box full of "stuff" in my trunk for emergencies. Usually this is just a soft-sided Ikea box, but I was on the hunt for a trunk organizer that would hold everything I want, while staying out of the way as much as possible. Well, I found one that fits the smaller section of my 2023 IS 350 trunk perfectly. Not sure if Amazon links are allowed (if not, I can remove), but
here is the one I am using here is the one I am using
. I am not affiliated with this company and this isn't an affiliate link or anything.

If you're curious what the hell I keep in there, here is a list breakdown:

Is this pretty standard for people to keep this stuff handy in case of an emergency?

I have the first aid lexus kit with band aids in it.....that's good enough right?

All the stuff I've put in there is due to needing it over the years:

- I have used the jump kits and tire inflator a ton to help neighbors, myself, girlfriend, mom, etc... Its nice to be able to jump your own car or someone else's without having to use your own car
- Lint roller = I have 2 long haired cats and a dog, enough said.
- Microfiber/quick detailer = I have had bird poop etch my paint before, so I try and get it off ASAP
- Seat Cover = I use it after the gym if I am super sweaty or coming home from the beach
- Towel = I use it as a secondary seat cover or when transporting stuff that might leak
- Fire extinguisher = Last year, someone hit my girlfriends car causing it to spin out, hit the freeway wall and catch fire. Luckily we made it out safe, but another 3 min and we would have been stuck in a burning car. I will always pull over if I see car on fire now.
- Chair = Has come in handy for waiting in line

Looks good. Added one to my cart (so I don’t forget to consider it later).

That's kinda what I thought.

I keep my tire inflator in my cargo net in case I develop a leak or if I need to put the spare on and top it up with air. Otherwise, I don't have anything in there.

I used to not carry anything besides whatever kit came stock in the car.

All this stuff is just a accumulation of being in "oh crap" situations and then leaving that stuff in the car

Plus, having it in this one container allows me to remove it easily if I need to transport larger items in there. But for now, I still have all the trunk room I have needed so far for golf clubs, grocery story trips, carry tools, etc...

It does look nice and fits perfectly in the space. Could be nice to have for a car show where I want to bring my detailing supplies.
