Default Illuminated Door Sills

I bought illuminated door sills for my 2014 IS250 F Sport, part number PT942-53140. I was able to get the driver side working but I am having trouble with the passenger side. I followed Grey 3IS' video but my passenger side won't illuminate. Below is my wiring

I used two different t taps, the one provided from the kit and a spare one I had laying around. Below is the setup from the video I was watching

I figured maybe I'm doing something wrong, I found an installation guide for my vehicle year that wants me to tap into a different wire, which I did but still did not work.

I'm stumped at this point, I didn't do anything differently from the driver side as I followed the directions as stated. I'm hoping somebody has had the same issue or can provide some insight

That green wire in the middle (first photo) looks to have been cut. Not saying that is the issue, but potentially.

Make sure the splicer is spliced fully through the insulated jacket of the wire.

Have you tested to ensure the sill works? Could be defective
