So... On my brand new IS350 I noticed specks on my headlights. I rubbed with my finger than rubbed it down with a fibercloth and it made scratches on the "glass".
What are the little specks and how normal is it? Also, is it possible to buff out the scratches? The rest of my car is in pristine condition, parked in a garage. I've only
washed it once but for some reason the headlights already seemed a little blemished. I regret taking the cloth to it. Glass cleaner helped a little but You can see the
fogginess on when the lights are on. Thanks! After wiping down with wet fibercloth After glass cleaner
The little specs are rock pitting. That will just get worse unless you have the headlights coated in paint protection film. In fact if stuff like that bothers you I would get the whole front clip done.
The plastic can be polished out by hand and without the right products you will likely just make it worse. I would try something really mild like Plexus with a nice soft microfiber towel.
