Default Is my car totaled

Very unfortunate circumstance and I hate sharing this type of news to social media but I am getting a lot of differing opinions. Based on the damage, will the car be totaled? I'm at 107K miles, check engine light on (not sure if this matters), all air bags deployed. I know the definitive answer will be given by insurance company but just wanted some thoughts

If the airbags deployed it's most likely totaled. Hope you're ok.

Airbags deployed, potential frame damage- she's most likely totalled. Hope you're okay.

Wow, hope you're ok! I had a similar accident with my 2020 blackline edition last year but airbags didn't deploy and was totaled.

Step one is to figure out what it’s worth. What year model and what’s the mileage? It’s something like if repair cost is over 60 percent of the value is repairs then it’s usually totaled. That’s got to be at least 20k in damage and it looks like an older non F model so probably totaled.

I was paid out $18,385.88 (not including the roof wrap I just got done). This was a 2015 IS 250 non F sport for anyone wondering with 107K miles.

Probably will be frequenting the forum a lot less since I am transitioning to a different car (2021 RAV4 Hybrid) for now. I did want to get into an IS 350 but I just started my residency and have plans to get married this year so expenses are up. This was a great car, gas was a little bit annoying to pay for and this car would eat through brakes and tires. I want to thank everyone in the community who always answered questions and help me enjoy my IS to it's full capacity. In about 2.5 years when my training is done, I will probably look into maybe an IS again or something better possibly. Thanks again for everything, great community, really enjoyed my time with you guys

Insurance will def total that without hesitation, it's not worth fixing due to costs and more importantly for them the potential liability with that level of structural repair required.

This is a really good payout. I sold my 2014 250 F Sport to a dealership for 17k and they sold it for about 19.5k back in 2021 and it only had 53k miles on it at the time. Good luck with residency.

How hard were you driving it?, I'm still on my original tires and breaks on my 2018 AWD FS though I am only just under 44k km. I went through breaks faster on my old 2010 IS 250 since they were smaller pads...I replaced those twice in 9yrs/144k km.
