I have a 2023 Lexus IS 350 that I have had for about 10 months now. I’m enjoying every bit of it. I have one glaring problem. The left side of the spoiler is coming unglued from the car. I thought this was only a problem with carbon fiber spoilers from 21-22. This is just a regular OEM black one. I’m worried it’s not covered under warranty since I’ve had it for more than 6 months now. What should I do?
Take it to the dealership. Should be covered under the factory warranty if bought with the car. I believe parts installed at the dealership after the fact carry a one year warranty too.
Went to the dealership and they will replace the spoiler under warranty. The spoiler is warping. They have a body shop on site that will paint it, remove the warped spoiler and attach the new one.
The spoiler is apparently held down entirely by adhesive or glue not screwed in. I hope it doesn’t keep happening because I had that issue with the carbon fiber spoiler on the 2021. Additionally, I hope it doesn’t ruin the integrity of my car.

That's good news. I'm surprised at how it's attached... the original CF spoiler was held on by 4 bolts and the updated version has 6. I hear you about integrity anxiety, I had the same thing when they told me they needed to drill two more holes! At least with just adhesive there shouldn't be any issues like that.

Curious what they are painting if you're getting a new spoiler.
That sucks, but all of us IS300 owners would love to have spoilers that were put on only with adhesive and no screws. At least you won't get water and potentially mold in the trunk through screw holes. Hope they get it fixed for you soon! Probably just external heat causing the adhesive to act up? Or was it a bad batch of spoilers? I guess any add on has potential for issues, but spoilers do look nice

First time seeing this happen to the regular spoilers, but I had (have) this issue with my '21 CF spoiler. The dealership replaced it with no questions asked when I brought up after all this time. However, the new spoiler I got does have very small dings & minor damage and is starting to lift again. There was another post about this issue, and someone said their dealership replaced their spoiler twice, so there isn't much concern with getting this covered but is definitely annoying.

I was also worried & asked about this when I brought my car in, but they told me they'll add rivets for those two additional bolts.

If I were you I wouldn’t wait too long to have it replaced. Lexus has been slowly discontinuing carbon fiber parts for the IS. The passenger side carbon fiber mirror cap was discontinued a couple of months ago.

I'm curious, did they replace your CF spoiler with the updated version (two extra bolts) or with the same version? The person you mentioned that had to have his changed twice received the old version first time around which had the same problems. I've had the revised version since May and so far no problems through the hot summer.

Oh... I'll make sure I get that taken care of ASAP then. I was contemplating getting an aftermarket spoiler since the Seibon one looks to fit really well. But I'm sure nothing beats OEM CF quality and getting it for free under warranty.

I'm sure I got the updated spoiler since I brought up that I know there's an updated one... The lift on the newer spoiler is definitely a lot less compared to what I got in 2021. I don't have any photos of my initial spoiler anymore since I thought it wasn't important to document it since the dealership had no hesitations to replace it.
I keep forgetting to post on the other thread related to this issue, but can anyone tell if mine are considered to be lifting? I have the 21 CF one, so if they're really discontinuing stuff I should probably talk to my dealership soon to cover it under warranty.

Driver side Passenger side
Tough to tell if it's just the angle that they installed it, because if it's lifting you'd see the tape start separating and it doesn't look like that's the case here.

I share the same opinion. From the angle the only area that *MAY* be lifting is the passenger side. But it may just be the angle. I'd take a picture of the corners from the back of the car.
