Car: 2022 IS350 FSport

So i was thinking, since I kinda miss some place to put my phone or other stuff down anywhere except cup holders - is it possible to replace this plastic cover under CD Player for some tray/wireless charger or anything at this point?

I’m assuming that behind it, whole CD Player mechanism is located so maybe is there some kind of aftermarket replacement of complete CD Player assembly that goes into place of it? Like some tray or organiser?
I’ve never seen it but the 2021+ models are out for a while so I figured that i’m going to ask on forum maybe someone did something like that.

 

Hello, it’s not exactly what you were looking for but it may help, I have a magnetic phone mount from Amazon that works great it is the small round one, even an iPhone pro max fits with no issues. It has not got in my way once and is in a perfect spot to plug in your phone for CarPlay!

So I took advice from @sean110930 and got the phone MagSafe mount holder 👍🏻 It doesn’t take much space, and lets me snap phone on it and not taking up the space from one of cup holders

looks great, in the sun today mine started to come a little loose keep an eye that yours stays on.

 

How does it attach to the car?

 

3M Tape, pretty solid amount of it and very sticky - i cleaned surface with alcohol wipe, attached it and pressed for 20-30 seconds and left without mounting phone for 24 hours, so far holds good even tho is 80-90 degrees outside, will see if will last whole summer 😅 they gave extra tapes in box as a spare
