Default New wheels rubbing front calipers

Hi, I'm new here and just bought some new wheels from fitment industries. Anyway I went with the ESR RF11 18x9.5 35mm offset. The guy told me I would have no problems running this setup on my car but upon installing they are up against my caliper. I do have a 2017 is300 base model with the bigger calipers. I see some people running same offset with no problems. I'm thinking I'm going to use a 3mm spacer as I think that should be enough to clear. Anyone else run into this problem at all.

I thought Fitment Industries guarantees wheel fitments for cars? You should speak to them.
You have to be careful because adding a spacer could lead to rubbing since the wheel is already pretty aggressive as is.

The only thing they guarentee is the bolt pattern, everything else is up to you. Then on top of it is if they don't fit you could be charged a restocking fee and possible return shipping. I know a lot of people on here have ordered wheels from them but not sure I would recommend them to anyone. Just my opinion. Anyway I'm waiting for a response back from ESR themselves to see what they recommend. If I have to take a big loss I will. Just want it right is all. As for the spacers, if I go that route I'm hoping to minimize with just a 3mm.

Do you have a pic of what how close it is? I would just buy the spacer, not sure what ESR would help you with tbh. I would try to get the smallest spacer possible needed

I don't have a picture of hand but I think a 3mm spacer ( 5mm maximum ) should work for me. I think as long as everything is tight and I can see daylight through the gap I will be fine. At least to my knowledge anyway. Unless there is a certain distance I need to have the caliper from the wheel.
