Hey everyone,

I just had a catback exhaust put on my car, its made by OBX but is essentially a ARK Grip design. It sounds great and has no leaks but now im throwing a P0430 code for "Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2)". Does anyone know what might be the cause besides just trying to replace my O2 sensor? My headers are stock and still have the OEM cats. Will this code affect how my engine will run if I drive it hard?

 

You said no leaks but it sounds like a leak. How did you confirm it wasn't a leak?

 

I will get it on a lift and try and get a much closer look for leaks.

 

Check for a leak where the header meets midpipe and make sure O2 sensor wasn't damaged during install.
