Default Fooling the headlight leveling system?

The warning light for the automatic headlight leveling system came on this summer on my 2008 is350 and it turns out a metal arm used by it in the left wheel well area broke. I'm not really missing the headlight leveling system, but the flashing red light on the dash is annoying.

Fixing the leveling system is looking rather expensive, so has anyone looked at adding a resistor to make the flashing red light go away? It looks like a resistor if correct resistance would fool the sensor to think all is fine, getting rid of the flashing red light. The question is what value of resistance is needed. Ideas?

Personally, I would just source good, working used components off of a wrecked, local vehicle. FB Marketplace, Craigslist, local parts yards.

Just pull the AFS fuse in the driver's side fuse box that's under the dash. It's a 7.5A fuse. If you pull that fuse it will get rid of the flashing AFS light on the gauge cluster and disable the leveling system. There's no interference with the functionality of the lights otherwise.

I've had the intermittent "check headlight system" warning light come on after installing coilovers and sometimes it would go away after hitting a hard bump and sometimes not. I did have my mechanic play around with adjusting the sensor arm location but that didn't help.......I pulled the damn fuse and hopefully the warning light will stay away!!...LOL

don't thank me, thank @TopNotchIN ......I pulled the fuse like he said and the stupid "check headlight" warning indicator went way. The headlights don't "move up and down" upon starting but who cares as they seem to be perfectly level to me and the dummy light is gone!.....I too changed to coilovers and the mechanic changed the sensor arm bracket angle a couple of times to try to make it work properly but the light would always pop up if I hit a hard bump.......anyway, thanks @TopNotchIN !....you helped 2 people out with your advice!
