Default How to enable intermittent wipers?

I was playing with my rain sensor and it fell off the windshield, in pieces. The plug came out the little electronics board in the rain sensor and I can't get the plug back into the board correctly.

In any case, the rain-sensing wipers weren't exactly awesome. I always had to fiddle with the wipers even in the Auto setting.

My question is: how do I get intermittent wiper operation?

Will leaving the rain sensor unplugged give me intermittent wipers?

Is there some setting I can edit with TechStream that will give me intermittent wipers?

Bump.

Unplugging the rain sensor completely doesn't help me get intermittent wipers. And I tried every possible position on the windshield wiper stalk.

You may take a look at other forums on this site. RX, LS... I think the only alternative is to get a working rain sensor again.

Thanks. I found a post for another Lexus saying that unplugging the wipers should enable intermittent mode. Didn't work on my 2IS though.

I also found someone saying that a certain version of Techstream had an intermittent wiper setting.

I've ordered TS and hopefully I can enable it using TS.

If not, I guess I'll just live with the fact that I broke my own rain sensor.
