Using non-OEM TPMS sensors?
I’ll be putting on my aftermarket wheels within the next week, I was thinking of just buying some non-OEM ones in case the shop doesn’t want to use the ones from my stock wheels. Last time I talked to this shop a couple months ago, they said it would cost $60 per sensor & I have no idea if they use OEM ones.
Will I run into any issues with these? I have a 08 IS350.
These ones seem to be the same ones that people have bought from ebay & will arrive before my scheduled date to take my car into the shop for coilovers & wheels.

I believe you should be okay with using those sensors. They look very close to OEM and use the same frequency (315 Mhz). Make sure you take a photo of each sensor's info. Some shops have equipment that will program the sensors without a hitch otherwise you will need the serial numbers. Plus, if you do run into an issue later on you will already have the serial numbers available to reprogram.
Don't risk it. Get OEM Denso replacements, they are only like $33/each.
But looks like in Canada, they get you for $57 CAD.
Keep in mind this is for the 07-13 cars. If you have an early 2006 model, they used a slightly different sensor.
