Default Transmission oil report high mileage

I sent a sample of my transmission fluid to Blackstone. As far as I know the fluid has never been changed. I had 157k when I pulled the sample. I consider it pretty good for the mileage on it. But I do plan on doing a few more drain and fill with a filter. Let me know what you think.

I have 10 k miles on my IS

I plan to drain and fill at 30,60. 90k (another 10 years away), do a full flush

Thanks for sharing. If this is factory oil and it's considered good, wouldn't that mean the oil would last until 200K? Maybe the transmission oil is designed to be lifetime -- assuming Lexus lifetime is 150K miles since that's where the maintenance schedule stops.

Here is a pic of the paper towel test. It smells like trans oil not a burnt smell. And I do know the difference. Been a tech my entire life auto, bike and diesel. I’m very surprised it says the oil is still good.

Consider yourself lucky and this has been discussed in long sessions by many. It is recommended to change it early in life, continuously. But, not recommended with high miles. I'm not changing a damn thing since mine has over 100k, I'm the 2nd owner.

Transmission Flush is not recommended. Drain and Fill can be done even on high mileage cars.

I agree I will not be doing a flush. Drain and fill. 2-3 quarts at a time shouldn’t hurt anything. I can only see it helping. The reason I did the sample was to see if it was burnt. Should I drain and fill or just buy a salvage yard trans and wait for it to go out. Considering the results I’m going to continue the drain and fill.
Im impressed an oil can last that long.
