2011 is350 problems please help
Just wanted to update and see if I could get any more assistance, I replaced the fuel pressure sensor today and I’m still getting the p0087 fuel pressure too low code, any other ideas? Should I try to replace the high pressure pump with a used one now?
You need to verify the low pressure supply is good. I am not sure what the value is but the electric pump in the tank should be roughly 50 to 80psi. The time it takes to hook up a gauge you could pull the pump and clean the sock. It could explain this. i.e. it has Enough volume/pressure at idle but not enough to go beyond that.
There is a recent thread by mikefig where he pulled the pump and it was loaded with debris.
Be safe about working around fuel /vapor. No sparks or flames or you make the news! You up for the task?

Thanks, I will try that, I am familiar with working around fuel, I replaced the pump in my 4Runner a while back and seemed to survive that, it was significantly easier to diagnose than this
Just took the pump out of the tank and cleaned the sock, there was almost nothing on it
what’s next? Try a used high pressure pump? Could it still be the in tank pump causing this?

I was looking at the process to replace the high pressure pump up front. It says to use some kind of tool to prevent interference or something like that. Then again a few members have done it on the 250. I'd recommend getting new gaskets all where applicable. You can search the forums on the recall. I think it shows you all the necessary gaskets and torque specs to use.
When I did my filter change. After I started it up it had a mild whine to the pump up front. I'm assuming it was the pressure not built up. Then after a few minutes it went away. Have you heard any noises from it prior to your issues?
No odd noises or behaviors prior to the stalling incident I described in the op, the car went into limp mode the same day and hasn’t been driven since
however, I have a fairly loud exhaust so it’s possible I didn’t hear it
