I was thinking about getting my mufflers and resonator cut on my Lexus IS250 2011 but I read some comment and it said it’ll cause my check engine to come on. I would really love to remove my mufflers and resonator. I’m trying to make my car loud because im a ricer . But seriously does removing your resonator cause a check engine? Thank you!!

 

no, removing resonators or mufflers will not cause a CEL

 

Muffler and resonator delete won't cause your CEL to turn on, but deleting your cats will I'm pretty sure.
