Default Upsized wheels - next step?

I just got a set of 19" G35 Rays with 225/35/19 tires for my 2006 IS250 AWD. Is there anything I need to do before I swap on the tires that I might not be thinking of? This is the first time I've changed the wheel/tire size on my IS and don't want to forget to do something. I just read something about zero point calibration that was beyond my normal car knowledge. thanks.

If it's AWD the overall diameter of tires needs to stay the same or very close to it. I assume those are staggered wheels you have. You could do 235/35/19 on all 4 corners, or 225/35/19 front and 255/35/19 rear. Alternatively you could get F 235/35/19, R 265/36/19

Here's a Tire size calculator, click on Tire Comparison

Additionally you will need 4 centering rings 66.1 to 60.1 and different lugnuts that fit your new wheels. To my knowledge Lexus lugnuts will not work with Infiniti wheels.

the circumference is nearly identical to oem. the difference in width is .5" and doesn't make any real difference in the height. I have the hub centric rings and a new set of lugs to fit the wheels. I'm concerned about any computer/system issues I may not be thinking of. I know there's a button to the left of the wheel for different sized wheels etc. ( I accidentally messed with it when I bought the car) but im not sure exactly what it does.

Did you get hub rings for the G35 rims? Infinity bore size i believe is larger than our IS'. If you didnot get hub rings you might experience wobble while driving which could result in a snapped lug nut bolt.

I got the hub rings to go from Lexus up to Infiniti. Fitment wise, everything is good. The awd worries me a bit, but I did the math and used the calculator to make sure the heights were the same as oem.

what would concern me beyond tire sizing is TPMS reprogramming, and what lug nuts to use.
I'm not sure if the factory lexus lugs will work (they are mag-seat type) on the infiniti wheels.
for sure the infiniti lugs will NOT work on the car, as they are completely a different thread pitch (12x1.25 whereas lexus is 12x1.5).

did a quick google search, you should use a set of acorn lug nuts - reference https://www.myg37.com/forums/wheels-...rays-lugs.html
If you're going to use TPMS sensors make sure they work with Lexus models and you can get them programmed at any dealer, I think they charge an hour to do it though. Else you could try living with a check system and TPMS light on your dash

I'm not worried about the TPMS too much. I can live with the light on, mostly because I forgot to tell the tire techs to take care of the new sensors in these wheels. They are a temporary wheel option while I keep an eye out for the right set up. I've had 19" vintage Racing Harts and Volks, but neither looked quite right. I got a steal on these wheels and the tires were only $68/each. the hubcentric rings cost $5 and new lugs were $20. I'm all in less than $500 so I cant complain.
