Default No crank when start button pushed

I have checked the battery, 12.5 volts. I know the smart key battery is ok, as car recognizes when the key fob is within range of the antenna. the security light flashes slowly as it always did. When I put my foot on the brake petal the start button's light comes on green and when I press the button the dash lights, the steering wheel is unlocked but there is no starter activation, no noise from the starter or engine. I hooked my scanner to the OBD2 the check if there was any issue but I only get a "no link" message on the scanner.

Try disconnecting the Fuel Pressure Sensor.
