Installing factory spoiler on boot lid
I have a 2010 2nd gen IS250 and have picked up the factory Toyota lip spoiler for this car. It comes with 2 screws/bolts and about 4 red tabs.
I have removed the tabs as I feel it is obsessive to poke so many holes into the boot lid, however just looking at where the screws line up, it seems like it would be behind the boot lid carpet cover? I haven't removed the carpet yet, but is there already holes pre cut behind the carpet covering?
Anyone have any info regarding installation of these? Going to attempt this next weekend.

Mine has been installed with just tape for three years. She’s been out in the rain and snow/ cold weather and hot , humid summers and the spoiler is juiuust fine. Been over 100mph a few times and won’t budge.
