2009 IS 250 Purchase - ICE - New stereo needed
HI All
If this in the wrong section I apologize I'm new to the forum,
I have just purchased my first Lexus, its a black IS 250 with 66k on the clock from London UK. The car is tidy with a nice 18 inch allows. Having just driven it some 100 miles back home I am pleased that it hasn't missed a beat.
I find the only thing that is letting the ar down is the stereo/ head unit.
I have seen a few newer aftermarket units that would really make the drive more pleasurable. Basically, I am looking for a Tesla equivalent that I can use google maps and connect the phone for hands-free talking.
I wanted to know if anyone has experience of using any of the below aftermarket kits and if there were any downsides such as airbag light not working
1)
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10-4-vert...53.m1438.l2649
2) Smaller android aftermarket stereo
Many thanks
Alex

Hi there, I recently got the unit in the second picture (the smaller one)
Overall I like the unit but have a few issues still to overcome, the fit on the older IS (2007) isn't fantastic as the clips on the vents and cd changer are made for newer versions, If youre looking to use the bluetooth for music its pretty garbage, phone calls are fine though, Personally I just use spotify and download songs to the device, also there is static when the unit is on, although i haven't had the time to try and fix any of this.
