Hi team, recently bought an 2006 IS 350 with Mark Levinson. When I test drove it, it properly recorded CDs to the HDD. When I bought the vehicle however, I load a CD into the drive and the two REC buttons on the Audio page are greyed out. Usually, the CD would just start recording automatically.

I've reloaded different discs and it won't give me the option. They are Audio CDs, not Data/MP3 CDs. The only thing I can think off is that the dealer replaced my battery with a reconditioned one, which may have affected some settings. But I can't find any settings anywhere that would relate to this issue.

This is also a Japanese import model (I live in NZ), but I can't see why this would be unique to jap models only.

I also just realised that when pressing the CD/AUX button, it doesn't switch to Aux input mode.
