Default OEM Nav Disk won't eject.

Hello. I hope this message finds you doing well.

2008 - IS350 - A/T - RWD

I purchased a new Nav DVD. Followed instructions from the user manual and YouTube, removed clock to access the drive, but when selecting the eject icon, the disc spins, a message says "no disc" and then the screens goes back to the map.

Any options other than removing the unit?

I have tried removing the power from the battery, and some of the hidden buttons on the screen "top right or left" to no avail.

Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the quick response.

”Disc removal tool”? You mean the 5lb hammer I have not tried yet? Then no.

pardon on my ignorance, but I have not used tools other than the tools to remove the clock unit to uncover the DVD drive.

Inititally, I thought you were making some kind of pun with the spelling of disc/disk, but I am baffled as to why add an empty post when I clearly wrote "removed clock to access the drive". Doesn't make sense when you are seeking assistance.

About my issue, anyone knows is resetting the user configurations could help?

-Thank you.

Disconnect battery under the hood for a few minutes. Then try it again.

yeah. That did not work either. Simply gave up. Nav works, but I have read so many horrid stories that I am not going to keep trying.
