OEM Nav Disk won't eject.
Hello. I hope this message finds you doing well. 2008 - IS350 - A/T - RWD I purchased a new Nav DVD. Followed instructions from the user manual and YouTube, removed clock to access the drive, but when selecting the eject icon, the disc spins, a message says "no disc" and then the screens goes back to the map. Any options other than removing the unit? I have tried removing the power from the battery, and some of the hidden buttons on the screen "top right or left" to no avail. Thank you in advance. |
Did you use the disk removal tool? And yes, thank you - I am indeed doing well:uh:

Lou Thank you for the quick response. ”Disc removal tool”? You mean the 5lb hammer I have not tried yet? Then no. pardon on my ignorance, but I have not used tools other than the tools to remove the clock unit to uncover the DVD drive. |
He is talking about 2 pins insert into the clock panel.
