Wheel fitment
I am in the process of lowering the car on eibach or H&R lowering springs but undecided which as yet, but my biggest question is about wheel fitments, currently running a set of 19’ TSW’s (235/35/19) which came on the car, which surprisingly rides very smoothly, I am looking to get some Bola CSRs but not knowing which size or the fitment details to make the car look fresh while keeping a relatively smooth ride but adding a little more feeling to the drive which is expected when lowering which I know already from dropping a golf on the floor... if anyone could help with what would need doing, ie; spacers (hubcentrics) and how wide the wheel can be currently looking at 8.5j fronts and 9.5j rears.
Sorry for a large speech but I’m keen to get under way, any help is much appreciated!

thanks,
dan
Been covered many times before. 8.5/9.5 will be ok without any issues. Are you Rwd or Awd? I have H&R lowering springs and they ride great and provide a great drop. I would honestly skip to coilovers though. Here’s a pic of mine on 19x8.5/19x9.5 on H&R.
with H&Rs it will be a conservative drop (see above) and yes 8.5/9.5 will work with the right offset (+38 thru +40 should be good).
I always try to minimize using spacers, and shoot for a good wheel size from the start.
