after i installed some Cree LED 9005 + Xenon Depot Canbus decoder, the AFS just won't level properly sometimes too high and if you go and adjust it with a few turns then it goes way too low or one side is too low and the other is too high or its the opposite... i didn't see any rubbing with the copper braid fins...

 

Did you try putting back the halogen bulbs back? Maybe the decoder is causing interference to the leveling module.

 

i had these LED bulbs b4 going to cree and had no problem... i guess i'll try what u said first and remove the decoder... or turned the AFS off...
