Default Torque spec. for Alternator Pulley

Hi,

I'm thinking of replacing my alternator pulley which makes some chirp noise, and need to find torque spec. for alternator pulley.
If anyone could please post the spec. to tighten new alternator pulley or the link to some, that would be great to me.

Thanks,

Are you sure it's not the belt itself? I would check for play also on the belt tensioner, or the idler pulley bearing for noise.

Powermaster lists their torque spec to be 70ft lbs. I would assume a similar spec on our Denso units would be fine.

Spray water at the belt of the running engine. Does the chirp change or go away?
This can result in more slip and such excessive slip, the belt noise goes away.

A clean slip free belt is pretty quiet. Keep in mind this does have a clutch sprague (over run clutch) in the pulley assembly.
