Battery light comes on
replaced the alternator and battery in my 2006 lexus is 250. battery light will come on. turn the car off, then back on , the light goes off. car drives fine and battery hasn't died. replaced it about a week ago. any suggestions?

Sounds like the replacement alternator could be marginal, working but putting out less juice than it should. I'd bring it to an auto parts store and have it load tested.
