My 2008 IS250 probably is the lowest trim available but it still has basic rear parking sensor/beeper. The weird thing is that at some point the ''P)))" sign just disappeared form the dash and there is no beep when I put gear lever to the Reverse thus there is no more beeping when I go backwards to the obstacle. Pressing On/Of button (which is under dash illumination button) reveals Tach and Speedo indicators settings but I swear there was also a menu to turn on/off proximity/parking sensor. Now there is not. How can I fix it?

 

Pull the exact code, and let us know what it is. The individual parking sensors in your bumper can be replaced.

 

How do I find that code?

 

Visit an auto parts store and ask them to pull the codes from your car. They'll take it from there. Report back on the codes that popped up.

 

After pressing the lower left dash button On/Off use the left or right arrows to bring up
all the changeable features. When "P" appears then press the On/Off again.
