I have an IS250 2009 with 91962 miles/148000KMs. I live in Canada, so it gets pretty cold in winter, and since the temperature has dropped, I have been having this weird squealing noise while turning slowly either right or left. I read online it could be either power steering pump (but the lexus has an electronic PS so there is no pump) or Hub. On some websites I read it could also be due to Tie-Rods, or the brake heat plate.
One guess would be the sheet-metal dust shield behind the front brakes. It can get bent, or even get a pebble caught in there in a way that rubs when making a sharp turn.
Could be the power steering pump. What tires are you on? When I had my Michelin PSSs on when the temperatures were around freezing, they would squeal when turning in one spot on concrete
I'm having the same trouble right now. I get some squealing noise when turning left or right in the driveway. Pulled the wheel off checked bushings, ball joints, everything looks good. The noise is on the driver side. I get a slight poping noise too. Once the car is on the road a few minutes the noise stops. The sway links have no play. The only thing I see is the LCA bushing on the subframe is moving slightly horizontally. Since the noise sounds like strething rubber. It' the best I can describe it. The car handles well no slop, no vibrations.
The bushing circled in red is what I see shifting horizontal slightly.
