Default IS250 AFS problem

Fuse is ok but after changing Xenon bulb AFS does not work. I can feel the drive move when I push the headlight bulb in its housing.
On start up AFS is shown briefly as OFF.
Car is IS250 SE-L 2007

help!

Had any suspension work done recently? It's very common to get the AFS sensors back on incorrectly when suspension work is done.

If not, I would check the links on the AFS sensors. They are both on the driver's side: one in front, one in back. They are little links behind the wheel hub toward the center of the car. Take a look and see if anything looks obviously damaged, failed or disconnected.

Let us know what you find as I don't recall any AFS just stopping by itself. Usually it is the result of suspension work.

I had AFS light on before and it was due to a defective speed sensor. Had to take it to the dealership for the diagnosis.

Are we talking about the same thing? AFS is adaptive front lighting system. You must mean ABS because speed sensors have zero to do with AFS.

No, I said it correctly: AFS, not ABS. They said that the defective speed sensor caused the AFS to trip.

But wouldn't there be other symptoms than just the AFS being turned off? Was this a thread on clubLexus?

Looking back, my ABS light was off too with TRC OFF and VSC but no check engine, pretty much the usual with anything wrong with the car. here's my thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-is-250-a.html

So your dash was lit up like a Christmas tree as I suspected. I'm curious why a faulty speed sensor (I assume you're talking about the sensor each wheel has for ABS, traction, etc) would turn the AFS off. Makes no sense at all.

Yep. Not sure but since there was no check engine light, there were no codes, hence, I took it to the dealership.
