Default Keyfob Cover(s)

I didn't see a thread really on keyfob covers/gloves. Probably not a very popular topic. There was one for leather covers a long time ago. Figured it may be easy to do one a bit more generic.

Anyway, recently picked up silicone covers off
amazon amazon
. Looks like they'll do a decent protecting the keyfob from scratches and small falls.

I bought this: https://www.thejacketstore.com/store...over-27p24.htm about 5 years ago. Very similar to the one lovekeiiy posted, but available in a variety of colors and without the Lexus logo on the back. Unlike the free leather one that the dealer gave me when I bought the car, this one has thus far survived the ravages of my pants pocket unscathed.

Bought these a couple years ago from Amazon or the bay don't remember where for like 7 bucks for a pair. Holding up really well an d they are no slip so easy to grip. They don't look all that great after a while like any other black silicone product it picks up lint and turns kinda gray bit for 7 bucks... Whatever...

Thanks for the link, lovekeiiy. I have the same black one as you with Lexus logo on back but I got it from the dealership, which was selling them for $9.99 each plus tax. It seems like Amazon's price is better since you get 2 for $10. If I need another one I'll definitely check out Amazon.

They're the softer silicone. They stretch over the keyfob when you put it on.

This was my thinking. The button placement matched. Looked like something Lexus could put out. And look they'll do sufficient job of protecting the keyfob from pocket scratches and low impact falls. I've dropped the keyfob about three times already with no protection. I just saw this could end up with an ugly keyfob in no time.
