Horn not working, need advice
I have no horn from what I believe is hitting it to hard. I took it to a repair shop and they could not diagnosis the problem but do not think they tried that hard.
What I know: I hit the horn a little hard, it worked sporadically for a little while then stopped all together.
1. Fuse is OK - Checked
2. Horns are OK - removed them and hooked to a battery pack.
3. Horn ground is OK - hooked battery pack up and tested.
4. No lights on the dash are lit and all steering wheels controls work.
5. Mechanic pulled the airbag and said horn contacts were good. He did not check the clock spring for some reason.
Does this leave the clock spring or a broken wire as the problem? Did I miss anything to easily check and what should a clock spring cost to have a mechanic replace?

I believe there is a relay, because mine didn't work either after a motor swap. I was able to get them working by checking a relay in the fuse box. I didn't end up having to replace anything.
