Default Replacing all 4 tires.. Suggestions? Advice?

2012 Lexus IS 250 RWD with 18" wheels. 109k Miles on it. Daily driver. 25 miles to work. Not a lot of long drives besides that. I am in South Florida as well so its HOT always. Should I go for Summer tires? All Season?

This is what I have on the FRONT & REAR now.

I just got my tires replaced. Summer tires doesn't last as long -- I need mine replace in 25K. All season tires last longer, but for same performance they look more expensive. I generally like the handling of summer tires but I'm in AZ -- doesn't Florida rain a lot?

50 inches of rain a year...Mostly from Mid May-Mid August. Just lived through Hurricane Irma a few weeks ago lol.

For a daily driver, I would suggest Goodyear Comfortread. Pretty good all around tire.

It depends what you are wanting and expecting out of your tires. I like the performance and grip of a summer tire, so I sacrifice a little road noise and tire wear to get it. They have stiffer side walls and softer compounds so they'll typically be a little louder and wear a bit quicker. It doesn't snow or anything here either and they do just fine for me in the rain.

If you want a tire that will be quieter and wear slower like an all-season, then you will be sacrificing performance. It's all dependent on how you want it to drive and what kind of mileage you're hoping to achieve on them.

BF Goodrich comp 2 or Bridgestone S-04?

Daily driver.... 65% of my driving is on highway.

I'd go with the Cinturatos from Pirelli. They seem to be the quietest, which is about 97% of the whole reason for our car's existence.

Michelin A/S 3+

I ran nothing but these on my IS 250 for 170,000 miles. They offer a 40,000 mile warranty, too.

I am currently running the BFG Comp 2. I like the grip and they work well in the rain, they do get a bit noisy once they wear down but in my experience, just about all summer tires do that due to the larger tread blocks and stiffer sidewalls. I can't comment on the Bridgestone as I've never tried those. I ran Michelin Pilot Sports until they changed them, then switched to the BFG.

Just don't expect a whole lot of miles on a tire like this. I probably average 25k miles out of rears, and they are quite slick by then. My fronts last almost twice as long though so I can typically buy all four, then 2 rears, then all 4 again.

What kind of warranty though?

Sumitomo has a 40k warranty on the tires I have as well.. except you have to be down to 3/32 tread but if your 2/32 tread its not a valid warranty anymore. Sounds like a scam to me.

I have a set of Continental DWS's on our IS250. I've had them about a year now. I had them on our old 2002 A6 back in the day. Great tire. I run them for about half a year; I'll be switching to the snows soon.

Depends if you're staggered. With staggered tires, Michelin halves the warranty considering you can't really rotate them.

I'm running these on my IS atm. The rears are nearly done for at 26k miles, though they're not quite at the wear indicator yet. My fronts have plenty of tread left though. IMO, the rears can probably last you another 10k if you don't drive it hard (which I kind of do).

If all season I would highly recommend checking out Pirelli P7 Cinturato All Seasons Plus, and Pirelli P Zero All Seasons Plus. Always go for the "Plus" version which are upgraded tires vs what car manufacturers put on their cars. P Zeros are Ultra High Performance tires that were developed for driving enthusiasts of powerful sports cars, coupes and sedans looking for prestige and year-round performance. Also Pirelli's treadwear is 60K plus. Read some online reviews.
Also worth checking out are
Michelin Pilot Super Sport, Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06, Continental ExtremeContact Sport, Hankook Ventus Evo 12
Hope that helps a bit.

Ill check out some of the others you mentioned but I am 99.9% getting summer tires since I am in Florida.
