Hid & drl/highbeam replacement
Question at the end.
Additional information below.
Buying second-hand cars are always so fun! When I bought my 2006 is250 I was sold based on new parts and low mileage. The previous owner had put brand new headlights. Not a scratch or fade on them. Well after my recent issues, halogens burning https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...t-on-fire.html and my lights being very weak https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ights-low.html
I decided to do a major repair on the lights. Removed the bumper, took out the lights. I used the 9006 terminals from the after market hid kit to replace my burnt 9005 terminals (yes I know they don't fit, but the wires were better suited for wire heat). I purchased a new hid kit and (stupidly) 9006 3000k 55w halogens... and I forgot that the base key is the same but wouldn't fit the housing. Stupid stupid.
Anyway I got a 6000k 35w hid kit and found something very interesting. My drivers side headlight housing has original hid and afs ( the adaptive light thing).... the passenger? You guessed it has the stock non hid that comes with the premium package.
Anyway, I proceeded to replace both projectors with the new hid kit. They are an improvement for sure (compare photos). Though that driver side is still aiming a little low. (Drivers sides on its highest setting) If I am correct the xenon bar has to be pointing towards the back of the car. I tried adjusting the bulbs though I think there's something else I'm missing?
Also, I'm looking for the same drl/highbeams (don't care if they look ricey, the color doesn't bother my eyes) had luminics 9005 65w 2500 or 3000k. They were great but I can't find them or any 2500-3000k anywhere? I'm looking on amazon.ca and eBay plus all the auto shops can't find them. (Btw in Canada) I'll consider every other color except 3500-4500 and anything above 8000k. Nothing about 65w I don't want another headache of a job.
Also purchased 168 leds so I can leave my car in parking light mode so my drl/highs are rarely used.
Questions:
What can I do about that low drivers projector? It's already as high as it goes. Maybe bulb placement?
Where in Canada can I get decent 9005 65w halogens below 3500k or above 5000k? I'd prefer Amazon as I have prime and want them in asap.

Looking at the cutoff on your pic the driver light, IIRC, is correct. Mine are a little lower in my stock setup than the passenger side too. I think it is by design to avoid blinding oncoming traffic.

I was thinking exactly the same though wanted to double check in case of something else.
