Probably right, although the switch is about 2mm shorter than the OEM Lexus button.
I picked up the Meso customs button. Very good quality. As OEM as you can get without getting OEM. It's only about 1mm recessed with the stock trim ring. Much better looking.
I'm in the process of getting some 1210 smd LEDS so I can solder them into my switch. The default Lexus leds are a bluish hue and then coupled with the filter on the back of the switch gives it that white look. However on the other switches including the Meso it shines the true light of the leds through so when illuminated it appears with a bluish tint, which looks out of place to me.
I should have just gotten the LC500 switch but I am hell bent now on having a red start button...lol
Meso:
blueish stock leds make switch appear blueish..
soldering in white smd leds to replace the blueish lexus ones. You could use what ever color leds you wanted. Red, blue, green, yellow...etc. I am actually going to try red later on. I have another factory push button on the way. You can get them cheap on ebay at around 30 bucks.. so it's no big deal to take it, test and destroy it..lol.
So is there some recommended way to remove the existing switch to replace it? I bought a CT200 blue switch to replace my factory switch in a 2008 IS250. I've searched the forums and youtube but I'm hesitant to just go for it. The last time I went for it my driver's door flip-out pocket no longer returns fully and sticks out.

Very easy, just drop the lower plastic cover that goes under the steering wheel down a little, enough to give your finger access to the rear, then directly below the button there is a tab and there is a tab on top. But you can't access the tab on top. So instead press the lower tab up you will feel a movement on the tab. As you press that tab, try and squeeze another finger to the back of the button just to give it a little push and it will pop right out. I've done this many times and works perfectly. As long as one tab is pressed in then it's enough to push it out.
Thank you for the sage advice. I'll have time weekend after next to try this.
It's pretty straight forward. Search the forums on installing a throttle controller. I think it has good pictures on how to remove the dash panel in that location.
You can get a harness to change the old style to the new.
I did this to my 2016 CT. I had the crappy convex button with the led, and changed it to the blue lc500 button. Looks way nicer. Exactly like the silver lc500 button in my RCF.

Where did you order the concave button from? Do you have any pics a little further back to view dash board better?
Do not order anything from Lexus boutique. They are such a rip off it's unbelievable!
You can easily get the push button off of eBay or from Lexus dealer or from Yahoo Japan auctions. I believe the button now goes for around 75 to 100 bucks.
I believe we have the part numbers posted somewhere here in the group Just search the part number on eBay and you'll have many to choose from. Should definitely be under a hundred bucks though.
They both look good. I think the hybrid one is more appropriate if you have a hybrid in the silver one if not because it is a little bit silly to me to have a power button for a car that doesn't have an electric engine lol.
I can take pictures over the weekend here once I get home from work if you want more angles this was just off my phone that I could find.

Thank you for the heads up. Yes, I do like the blue hybrid better since it stands out better on the interior. Though my GS has mostly satin trim everything is too gray. I feel getting the silver one is wasteful .
