Nice work. I find myself dimming the dash at night though.
The cluster is extremely bright for my eyes on night driving.
Yes it is ..the blue lights i have light up car nice not to bright..i have a cluster that i as replacing the plain white light and gnna put in ice blue background and the needles red maybe
There is no way I'm spending $150 for a red TRD button that lights up green when the rest of the lights int he car light up white. It is easy to remove the switch and actually just replace the push button cap.. It's held by three clips. Super easy to do. That way you get a red button if you want and still maintain factory color. When it gets here from China I'll review it... For $15 can't really go wrong and if it's a dud then oh well... There was a GB for custom push button but they are now over $150 which seems so crazy for a piece of plastic...

Any updates on whether this worked out for you or not?

Yep fits in just like OEM and clicks, however there is a mm or two gap all the way around. I when measuring the button compared to the OEM, it is in fasst slightly shorter... I found this site: https://mesocustoms.com/collections/...h-start-button
The tundra guys love it. From everything I've read it's an OEM copy of the stock button just with different designs... I bought one and hope to have it next week. I am HOPING that it's the same size as the stock OEM button... if it is then that's what I am using. If it's like the chinese version in height I will just chuck it up that I it wasn't meant to be and that I'll ge tthe LC500 silver push button or the blue push button hybrid button... Those both look nice.
Even after looking at the one site that charges $120 for a replacement button that too looks like it's recessed in the housing... so I am super glad I didn't buy that. Plus it looks like there is light bleed on it and looks not great to me. So we'll see..,.. I'll update once I get the new button. For now here are pictures of what the chinese button looks like. Overall not bad, but I can't live with the little recessed gap. This isn't a honda...lol

Haha thanks for the photo dump, a shame it didn't work out with the first one. I probably wouldn't be able to live with that bit of recess either. Good luck with the second one. I think I may go the ct200 route for the blue.
I'm +1 for the CT200h blue push button. I changed out the green LED for blue to match the rest of the car and left the green/amber for the small indicator light. Found one for $25 on Ebay a year ago.

These probably were made for the ignition switch with chrome bezels. Like the one's found on the 2nd Gen IS.

Probably right, although the switch is about 2mm shorter than the OEM Lexus button.
I picked up the Meso customs button. Very good quality. As OEM as you can get without getting OEM. It's only about 1mm recessed with the stock trim ring. Much better looking.
I'm in the process of getting some 1210 smd LEDS so I can solder them into my switch. The default Lexus leds are a bluish hue and then coupled with the filter on the back of the switch gives it that white look. However on the other switches including the Meso it shines the true light of the leds through so when illuminated it appears with a bluish tint, which looks out of place to me.
I should have just gotten the LC500 switch but I am hell bent now on having a red start button...lol
Meso:
blueish stock leds make switch appear blueish..
soldering in white smd leds to replace the blueish lexus ones. You could use what ever color leds you wanted. Red, blue, green, yellow...etc. I am actually going to try red later on. I have another factory push button on the way. You can get them cheap on ebay at around 30 bucks.. so it's no big deal to take it, test and destroy it..lol.
