HI there I have recently done recall for the "AIRBAG INFLATOR" - r32 campaign ,on the passenger side.

Now I was told there is another campaign for steering column ,and rear brake calipers. Does anybody have more details about this one?
I am working on GS 450h rebuilding calipers ,very upset regarding pistons quality ,protective boot quality too,and now IS 250 is another recall.

I am trying still to get back confidence in lexus.

I think this recall has been going on for a long long time already. That it's finally made it's way to some people, like myself, who stumble on it while at the dealer for other servicing.

If you read the original post more carefully, you'll see that he was asking about a recall for the steering column and brake calipers, not the passenger airbag, which he states he already has had done.

The special service campaigns for the rear brakes and power steering link are very old, from around 2009 if I recall correctly.

one more thing here.Does recall has time frame to be done ?
friend of mine told me there is exp.date on recall , but my opinion is that if it is recall it should not have time limitation to be done .Just traying to get my mind strait here.

No time limitations on those recall ,it was missunderstanding.
recall will commence next week , hopefully that will be last for IS 250 AWD.������
