Advice Needed on Headlight Upgrade
Im thinking of changing the yellowed OEM headlights to a set on ebay. There are several types Ive seen not sure which to get and how do I install the units and disconnect the AFS system? My car has the auto leveling and swiveling headlights.

So all yours need is to be refinished? bust out the sand paper and fix them.
I'd get the VIPmotoz if youre set to switching...get the VIPmotoz, as they know a lot of the Clublexus members. You'll lose swiveling headlights.

check it out. I have it on my car from the day i did the review and the headlight is still on good shape now.
***ONE MUST THING you should always do to after Market headlight is align it to match with OEM headlight point due to the level adjustment is totally different (hard to impossible to adjust without removing it)

I got a question, and it may have been asked multiple times before I just cannot find it. Are there no after market auto-leveling headlights? Must we always lose that functionality when we want a new style?
I have a 2008 IS250 with the AFS HID lamps but love the look of the LED DRL and don't want to lose the auto-leveling and steering rotation of the OEM lamps.

Just installed the lights. So far fitment was perfect, hard part was removing the bumper. I just have a extra connector which I don't know what's is it for. Other that that all lights are working good. Here is some picture . I will update more picture when I put everything back together

I bought OEM 2012 lights, they were expensive but I absolutely love them, just put a coat of wax on them not long ago actually..
I liked the VIPmotoz lights the best and was close multiple times to buying them. The obvious downfall to switching any lights when you have AFS is that you lose it as did I, however I never did enough winding road driving (whatever you wanna call it) to ever make the headlights turn enough for it to be useful, so I didn't mine losing that feature. I also didn't like the fact that I still had to get an HID kit for the headlights as they come with halogen bulbs.. so your $300 headlights become more like $500 with a decent HID kit installed. So I went and spent $2000 on OEM's hahaha
Just my $.02

Ok I finished installing those and I can say they are look good and leveling the light wasn't that bad also. Only think I can say is install some HID in same time. I put bumper back and now I'm looking to ad some HID but I have to remove everything again!!
