You should try manually tracking your MPG. I use an app which logs the odometer milage, gallons filled, and price per gallon. I find the car's system isn't accurate in calculating MPG.

the car's mpg is definitely not accurate. you are definitely getting lower mileage than you think.

with that as your tank reading... you're probably actually getting around 30mpg. maybe a tad bit less/more.

I realize its somewhat less, but it beats my 12 mpg in my old F150

I hand calculated the last tank in my IS350 and compared it to the tank avg and it was pretty close. Tank avg read 25.3 and I hand calculated 25.05. 33 is good though! I still want to try driving around in snow mode for a tank and see if it really helps. Bogging the motor too much could lose mpg too.

Oddly enough, on my car, I find that the displayed MPG on the trip computer is conservative, and my hand-calculated mileage is actually about .5 to 1 MPG better than what is displayed.

I think this will vary depending on tire sizes. My car has stock wheels and tires.

Mine are stock 18" wheels. Interesting to see how my MGP changes once I mount my new 19" wheels and tires.
