Hey guys.There was a function on the navi screen when the lights were turned on it became black and when they were turned off it became white again.Can someone remind me how it is done?I changed my battery and i cant remember how it is done.Thank you

 

really there is a function like that. damn this white screen sometime gets annoying on my F. i know when you put the corner amber lights on (twist the light to the first setting) it turns the nav screen dark. thats only dark if you are driving somewhere not in sunlight. Plus you have to have the cluster dimmer switch not on full brightness.

 

I believe you mean this: Press Display button, then a set of selections will appear, look at top you will see something called day mode, Uncheck/check it as to your preference....

Mine doesn't have day mode. It says screen off and OK only. ???

 

This option only appear when the light sensor is not seeing much light. You could test it again at night time. 1000% you will see it!!!

 

On mine I realized if you turn the brightness down on the dimmer switch the screen goes black!
