Just had an argument with a friend who has a 2012 IS250 and thinks their car has Mark Levinson b/c it has GPS. I told him that isn't the case and he said the dealer told him it had it (shows what they know). He was under the assumption that if the car had GPS, then it had Mark Levinson. I told him the radio would have the Mark Levinson name on it if it were to have the sound system and showed him my 06 GS430 and the marking. My 06 IS350 had Mark Levinson and was marked on the radio as well. Anyways, I started trying to find an IS250 that had Mark Levinson and came up empty handed. Was this option ever offered on the 250 or was it only available on the 350?

The Mark levinson does offer on both IS250/350. However, Mark Levinson player will have its name on the face. Also, if you look closer to the radio door (Behind the slot where to insert the CD), Mark levinson unit will say "Multi disc play" while regular player say "6 disc CD changer".

 

all the info will be printed on the face of the unit. Mark Levinson did stated DVD, WMA, MP3 ... WHILE REGULAR IS NOT.
