Default Help! Wheels rubbing.

Hey IS FAM,

just recently installed some new aftermarket wheels on my is and they are rubbing bad. Every time I leap over bumps or drive over train tracks it rubs (rear wheels). If I reverse out (turning my steering wheel) my front wheels rubs as well. Any suggestions would do. Thanks before hand.

Set up:

Front - 18x9.75 +20 offset 225/40/18
rear - 18x9.75 +20 offset 255/40/18

I think ur offset is too low but I'll let more experienced guys give you more details but 9.75 is pretty wide for front I know it can be done but the +22 offset is low.

Your already stretching tires as much as you can I'd say - You'll more then likely have to do some fender work to get it to not rub at all

The front it could just be in the inside fender liner that your rubbing on which has been solved with a heat gun for some

As mentioned above though those are very aggressive offsets especially with 9.75" wide rim upfront

thanks for your input. I've got my fenders rolled already. But it's still rubbing. You think a camber setup will help?

Is your car lowered and have you rolled your fenders?

I see. You'll need some work up front. Since you're already rolled, you'll need to shave and do bumper tab relocation up front. Here's a link: scroll down and you'll see pics of a 2is (http://www.wrongfitmentcrew.com/foru...ods-quot/page3)
I took some pics during my process but too lazy to post it up... lol

As for the rear, tire stretch or camber arm shall do. I don't think you'll need to pull...Correct me if I'm wrong!

Hope this helps.

thanks for your inputs. Definitely helped out a lot. I'll try them out. One question tho, what's a good camber kit?

Get Megan Racing that's what I have on. Just remember though, you might need to buy control arms as well cause I had to get both to clear but then again you might not. I just needed it to air down all the way.
