My driver seat backrest is making annoying squeaking noise whenever I move around in my seat or when I change my sitting posture. The sound can be reproduce when i press my hand against the backrest (see circled area in the picture below). It sounds like the squeaky noise is coming from the inside of the backrest leather.
Does anyone have this issue and know the solution to fix this? Does anyone know how to unpeel the backrest leather to gain access to the inside the backrest?
Here is the video link to my squeak problem. The noise is reproduced when i press on the backrest and when i move the side bolster. It's very annoying. Does anyone know the solution?
I have this same problem but honestly just like the dash rattle you get used to it and then its not as annoying. Would I want to get it fixed and will I try to fix it? Absolutely, but it isn't anything that is too big of a deal.
Mine was doing this too... I fixed it by tightening the seat bolts. The rear right side on the driver seat was a little loose..
I had my seat bolts tightened. Still giving the squeaky noise when i press on the seat. I think the problem is under the back rest leather. Anyone know how to gain access to that? Should i take it to upholstery shop?
