So an update. It wasn't the amp. Somehow all the speakers got water in them. So I am getting them all replaced with kicker speakers. The total with installtion is $445, so now I will have a working sound system.

Which speakers exactly got wet? Have you had anyone work on your car previously on those doors (aka, removing the door panel)?

It was all of them. I guess the guy before left all the windows down one day during a storm and ruined them. And no I have not had anyone work on the doors. I had all the speakers replaced with after market kicker speakers. Sound system sounds much better and I can finally allow myself to listen to music in my IS 350!

I went with these: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_2064CSS...l?cc=07&tp=106
They are not the best speakers out there but for a complete swap out of all my speakers for $445 I am very satisfied. I have a sub and mono amp that I plan on having installed at some point as well.

How much was the labor after all to do the install for you?

So I believe there the total for the speakers were $130 for each box and I got two boxes for all the doors, so the labor was probably around $185 then. And the speakers came with a 6 month warranty. I thought they did a very good job and definitely will be going back there to do future audio upgrades to my car.
