I for one, upgraded from an IS-350 to a IS-F. Let me tell you there are no similarities in speed and handling. The IS-F is an absolute beast when it comes to acceleration and torque. (Unless I bought a unicorn) There have been multiple instances where I broke traction at 60+ mph on the highway. (scared the **** out of me to, as I wasn't expecting it.) There is a lot of different factors that could have played a role in that race. Traction, poor shifting, etc. Dont get me wrong I loved my IS-350, But the ''F'' is a huge upgrade.

Yes, happy .....Pound for pound, dollar for dollar, 0-60 and 1/4 mi. speed times with trade in values, and good looks...
At 61k for a brand new 2016 ISF compared to 46-48k for a new 2016 IS350 F-Sport all in all the best bang for your money is the IS350 IMO!
A used low mileage good condition IS350 compared to a used ISF is even a better deal.[/QUOTE]
I wish there was a 2016 IS-F. They stopped production in 2014. However they do have RC-F and a GS-F MY2016.

The 350 is quick off the line because of the way its geared and because the 350 and the F have the same tire size (if i remember correctly) the IS-F could lack traction off the line but once you exceed 80mph the IS-F will destroy the 350. Only way you'll see a 350 beating an F is if its an 1/8 mile track and the IS-F driver screws up the launch.

On my local 1/8th mile track, I've seen a local IS-F owner run 8.9s passes all the way down to 8.3 passes. Just a matter of experience on how to properly launch all of that torque and NOT doing a burnout on street tires. I was never able to line up to him; however, I was able to hot-lap a local, fellow IS350 owner (showed him how to remove the T/C with the pedal dance) and then he preceded to show me up by a tenth. LOL!
