Hi everyone, I'm new to Club Lexus and it's great to meet all of you guys. It's fascinating to be surrounded with other Lexus enthusiasts.
Anyways, I own a 2009 Lexus IS250 and for the past few months, I had this tail light bulb issue that has been getting on my nerves. I've looked everywhere online but I couldn't find the right solution to my problem. Anyways, we all know that on the 2009 Lexus IS250's tail lights, they will look like this when illuminated:
Notice how there are six light bulbs illuminating right? Okay, now for the tail light on the right side, there will be all six of the tail light bulbs illuminating except that one of it is like losing power.
I looked closely inside of it and there seems to be some condensation happening inside. Does anybody the solution to this issue? It would be a great help to hear your guys' opinion about this. Thanks.
The only bulbs in your tails are the turn signal and backup lights, both are replaceable. The tail, brake, and side marker lights are LEDs and they are not replaceable. I believe your only option is to replace the offending light with a new one. They are available on eBay and in the For Sale Section of this forum.
Note: I have replaced the tails on my ISF with smoked tails from a 2010 ISX50. Tails like yours.
