Default A/c not working Please help!!!

Hi lexus owners im new to this site and have a bit of a problem. I have a 07 is250 with a a/c problem. I'm not sure what it is or have to fix it. It shows on My nav. Screen check air conditioner connection, but everything else work on the screen just no ac. I started first by checking the fuses and they are all fine. So today I took the radio out to see if there was a plug not connected to the back of the radio and all are connected except one. Seems like there's a blue plug missing and I can't find it where I could plug up to the back of the radio. Could that be the missing plug thats not making my ac work??? Please help I've been without ac for a year now and not trying to go another summer without it...

No, not having connector would not cause your problem. If I remember right, that connector is used only for ML systems.

Assuming that all of the electronics for the A/C systems are fine, I'd start by seeing if there's a leak in the system somewhere.

Do you know where would I look for leak at? I thought it was a connection problem because my auto ac light that shines green doesn't even come on when I press it....

When it comes to A/C systems, I've got zero knowledge on DIY fixes. It would be best to take it somewhere that has all of the proper equipment to look into this for you.

IIRC, it's probably a relay problem. Swap the A/C relay with the horn relay and see if it works. If it works, buy a new/used relay.

currently i'm facing the same issue . I was at my work and car was parked in the morning without any issues and it was raining heavily . In the evening when i started the car the memory seats does not work , park brake light is on even after disengaging it , ABS and power steering warning light stays on and the A/C does not turn on giving message on the screen "Check connection to the air conditioner"

Were you able to find out the issue
