Default 2007 Lexus IS350 No audio

I have a 2007 Lexus is350 with the M/L sound system, has no audio through Am/Fm. The cd function isn't even allowed to be used and does nothing when I try to eject or load a cd not even click. There is only audio from auxiliary and I tried replacing fuses resetting by unplugging the battery. I even purchased a used amp off ebay and replaced it but still has no sound can somebody chime in on some reasons you think it could be not working even after replacing the amp??

Unless you are good at chasing sparks your problem could be with the head unit. I would pull the radio out and double check all the wiring harnesses...do you even hear a hiss sound in the am/fm mode? If you do, thats a pretty good indication that your antenna isnt hooked up.

There is a very faint static noise when volume is at max level, also very weird thing it does is when music is playing in aux when you switch to am/fm you can faintly hear the music at max level as well that is playing through aux

THats very strange...my only recommendation is to pull the radio out and look behind it. Make sure all the connections are tight. Do some homework by searching for tutorials on how to get back there. Fairly simple if you know what you are doing but you could end up breaking something if you go all thrust and no vector.

That sounds like normal input crosstalk. Definitely sounds like a head unit problem.

Besides the second-hand amp, has there been any aftermarket audio components or other devices connected to the system ever?

No there isn't any aftermarket audio equipment hooked up or ever has been, I also looked at the back of the radio everything is plugged in and wires look fine. Could it just be a bad radio? Which really sucks after I bought another amp
