Default Muffler tip fell off :(

And since I live in EU I can't seem to find any Lexus parts :/

I'm not really very good at cars, I just drive them, so I figured maybe someone here could help me out with tips on which ones to buy?

I would rather buy something from EU since it's both cheaper and faster delivery, but I can't find any, the closest I got is this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_fr...r+tip&_sacat=0

Would any of these work? I would like to stay stock as much as possible.
But I'm open for suggestions.

P.S. the car in question is a 2006 model.

How much tail pipe is left? With your limited knowledge of automobiles, I would take it to a good muffler shop and ask them for advice and help.

Well, everything is there, just the "fatter pipe" around the exhaust system is gone. It's purely cosmetic, but it does make the car look bad without it.
I already talked to a mechanic and they said that they can just solder the two new ones if I bring a couple to them.
It seems that Lexus soldered it badly in the first place. It was almost like glued.
The problem is, I don't know which ones to buy. I don't want something that's too long or too fat which would make it out of the ordinary, I prefer to keep it stock, but I'm from Sweden, there's no Lexus parts here, and EU Ebay is very limited.

Then really any tip that fits a 2¼" tail pipe should work, if you replace them both (they should match). The first one on the page you attached looks like Lexus OEM so you would only need one, but looks expensive for a used piece.

The cheap Chinese ones, I don't know, but feedback seems to be good. BTW, I hope the mechanic you spoke to means welding and not soldering.

The tip is friction-fit from the factory, it's not welded/soldered/glued. You can just buy another one from Lexus and push it on there.

Not sure what you mean, I linked a bunch of products from Ebay UK
And yes, I meant welding, sorry about that.

I'm saying the tip is just held on there by being tight (friction), it is easy to put on yourself, you do not need a shop to do it for you. No welding required.

If you get a new one from Lexus.

Thanks for the tips, I checked out Lexus official Ebay store and can't find anything. They really have bad support for IS models (IS350 doesn't even exist) in EU.
I'll take a better look later today and perhaps tomorrow at work, hope I find something.

17408-31030 is what you'd be looking for.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BRAND-NEW-...YAAOSwzrxUxl0P

You may need to have it shipped to your country if Lexus in your country cannot get the part for you.

It is the same part for IS250 and IS350, 2006-2010.

Third party tips (after market) are a far cheaper alternative. And welding them on means it'll last awhile.

Thanks Jeff and everyone else. I'll look around and if I can't find in EU, I'll order overseas

I order most parts directly from japan, but local dealer prices are not bad also.

That exhaust tip 17408-31030 would be ca 42 EUR with the shipping. Takes at least 2-3 weeks to arrive which is not so good.

Where do you order it from? I don't mind waiting 2-3 weeks.
